When lifting your Jeep, there are a number of things to keep in mind. A traditional suspension lift raises the height of your Jeep, which will raise the center of gravity, thus making your Jeep less stable. A body lift on the other hand keeps the frame, engine, and a large portion of your Jeep at the same height, and rasies the body of your Jeep – this will allow you to fit larger tires onto your Jeep easily, often producing a more stable lift. While most people go for a small suspension lift coupled with a mild body lift, it’s common to start with your body lift, since it’s cheap to buy, and easy to install.
